Thank you so much and especially for the little updates, that is great customer service. Also just wanted to quickly say that I attended a seminar you gave a couple of years ago - it was a ‘women with ambition’ breakfast in Canberra. I was so inspired by you - your talk was wonderful and you’ve encouraged me to improve my health in many ways. One of the biggest I can think of straight off the top of my head is that I no longer have sugar in my tea, I use honey and I’ve managed to change (and rather like) no sugar at all in my coffee. Doesn’t seem like much but its a great start and considering how many cups over the year, its bound to be a good thing! I look forward to trying all those teas when they arrive! : ) Thanks again

I love your preggers tea, drank it before, during and after my first pregnancy. We’re trying to get pregnant again and I’m just wondering if there any any herbal teas I shouldn’t drink when pregnant. Thanks
—Melissa
Melissa, glad you enjoyed Preggers. Generally herbal teas of most varieties are fine during pregnancy because a tea or infusion is the weakest form of herbal preparations as compared to tinctures, extracts and tablets. However, there are a few NO GO’s which include: Andrographis, Blue and Black Cohosh, Corydalis, Cat’s Claw, Golden seal, Juniper, Myrrh, Pau D’arco, Poke Root, Wormwood. The usual suspect herbal teas such as peppermint, chamomile, ginger are all fine. Hope this helps. Kind regards MIM
Hi Mim and hope you’re well. Just wondering about the difference between Bright-eyed and Bushy-tailed tea and Go-go tea. I ordered a big container of Bright on Friday (with a few other things) and tried my small bag of Go-go over the weekend. It’s brilliant! Happy to give Bright a go this time but would be helpful to know the difference. They both sound like they’re sort of energy/stamina-related. I hope you’re well and all the best.
—Vicki
Vicki, thank you for your kind words. Bright Eyed & Bushy Tailed contains more herbs designed to deal with the effects of stress on the body, and help with endurance and stamina, containing Siberian ginseng, damiana, gotu kola and licorice. Whereas Go-Go, still a wonderful brew for energy and vim, is based solely on licorice as the adrenal tonic. MIM
I had a little cold last week and just LOVED the Sniffle tisane - I hate to take tablets to stop the drip once the worst of the cold is over and I found it most helpful.

Hello Mim. Congratulations on your work. I attended a course you gave many yrs ago at the Sydney WEA & I, along with others at the course, marvelled at not only how much we enjoyed your course but also how much we learned from it. You put across scientific information in a marvellously down to earth manner.

Soothe is my new, bestest favourite and I’ll be prosletizing universally! Using it is nearly a spiritual experience and my skin (used to be renovated with gerney, sand blasting or pot scourers) is hugely pleased with the change of protocol! Tonight I’m (begrudgingly) heading to a ball, and rather than designated driver, I’m to be designated ugly sister. I opened my pack of Soothe and was transported by the beautiful French lavender aroma, then proceeded with the ‘velvety’ paste - but no, it was going to be over too quickly for my satisfaction (mmm, sounds like?), so I mixed up some more, added a few drops of cold pressed sesame oil and lathered it on to leave as a mask while floating thru domestic goddess bliss with carpet sweeper as tool of choice! Then, when dried softly, I gently (out of character, I know), rubbed it off. Voila - maybe my role won’t change for tonight, but at least I’m more comfortable in my skin - nearly glowing. Now, what to wear … . aaaargh! Maybe a velvety paste of Soothe? As my 6yo niece would say: I yuv it! Yuv you, too. Multo gracie, bella - you’re my hero(ine).

Hi Mim, Your Soothe bath & Skin is wonderful. The lavender is the perfect relaxer after a long day at work and the oat milk leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft. What a fantastic product. Now to find the perfect tea blend to go with it!

Hi Mim,
Having long been a big fan of yours since your Triple J Wed morning days, I love to receive your newsletters, being an Australian living abroad it is great to receive healthy updates and up to date information on important healthy subjects in Australia.
We live so close to the equator we do not get the 4 season’s here, sometimes it rains, sometimes it does not. Wishing you an enjoyable Autumn, how we miss the leaves changing colours.
Keep up the great work.

Just a quick email to say I have had great results with both the Nighty Night and Digestivo teas. Haven’t slept so well in years. I can feel the tea relaxing me and I know I will sleep. The Digestivo has been great for my Ulcerative Proctitis which has been really bad for several months. Really like your book too.

I would just like to say a big thankyou Mim for giving the talk at the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat this past weekend to the Yogi’s. I was sat up the back in the green top (you may not remember). I personally found your talk really inspiring and have taken a lot from it. … Oh btw the Bright Eyed and bushy tailed tea you threw me (yes I was one of the very stressed girls who answered yes to the vast majority of the
stessors list) is lovely and seems to be helping me focus. Great! Thanks again.

I stumbled over your website and looked up your treatment for nasal polyps - mine have been horrendous over the last month or so. I thought I was headed for surgery again for sure.
However, I have followed your advice (Quercetin and Vitamin C etc) and within 48 hours I can breathe again and I can sleep again. I am 80% improved and getting slowly better than that. Thank you!
— Brett
Dear Mim, after a life time of sleeping difficulties, Nighty Night has given me night after night of blessed deep sleep - and it has a lovely fresh flavour. I don’t know what the secret ingredient is but it has a truly soporific effect.

Dear Mim,
I love your books! Your wit and gentleness really comes through. You are a great writer as well as a smart naturopath! You have inspried me to stop taking allopathic symptom-walloping medicines all the time (and I used to take a LOT), to get out more and try some sports, and to take steps to cure mine and my partners’ chronic eczema — mine especially was an eye-opener, as changing our lifestyle and adding/subtracting a few foods and a few supplements fixed it, and I had suffered it from early early childhood. All the doctors I’ve ever seen have sighed sadly and told me there was nothing that could be done.
I am 20 years old now and don’t want to go back to the old land of pill-popping. And in fact, you have inspired me to want to study naturopathy officially. It is an expensive and sometimes scorned study and career path, and confusing to wade through the assorted information packs from various colleges, and if you have any pointers or tips, they would be so welcome. but i understand that you are a busy person. Anyway, please enjoy my happy little note as I end it by saying, thank you for being so good! You deserve a lot of smiles. :) :) :)
