Ayran (Turkish yoghurt drink)

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 2 cups natural yoghurt
  • 2 cups chilled water
  • 2 teaspoons dried, crushed mint leaves
  • pinch of salt

Method

  1. Place yoghurt and water in a blender, blend until mixture turns smooth and frothy.
  2. Add crushed mint leaves and salt to taste.
  3. Place ice cubes into 4 glasses, top with Ayran.
